- Grain Accounting Clerk – Fargo, NDJob duties will include grain invoicing and settling, Accounts Payables, account analysis, inventory reconciliation, and month end reporting.Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a two year degree in Accounting or two years of experience as an Accounting Clerk specifically in the grain industry and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Candidates must also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and be successfully able to multi-task and prioritize, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Customer Logistics Representative – Fargo, NDThe Customer Logistics Representative (CLR) is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and general office support utilizing discretion and independent judgment, and performs administrative/office duties with a wide variety of international customers and suppliers in our pet food division.Responsibilities include: receiving purchase orders from customers for various products and relating information to the trader. Receiving, investigating and responding to inquiries regarding contracts, invoicing, A/R, A/P, and filling of contracts and related documentation, answering incoming calls, data entry, and mailing samples. Maintain and ensure proper documentation related to customer orders. Establishes and develops strong working relationship with customers via mail, telephone, or in person. Coordinate freight and shipments with SCI Internal Logistics and select external freight Companies. Based on performance and aptitude, this position has significant opportunity for advancement.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a four year degree in business or related filed or equivalent combination of education and related work experience. Candidates must also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, be successfully able to multi-task and prioritize, ensuring deadlines are met, and demonstrate the ability to solve problems and handle upset customers in a professional manner. In addition, candidates must be experienced in and able to calculate figures and amounts across different units of measure. Strong Computer (Word, Excel, and Outlook), presentation and data handling skills are desirable.
- Computer Programmer/I.T. Specialist – Fargo, NDAssist with the continued development and maintenance of a comprehensive department database and Management Information System for use in or preparation of a variety of specialized local and state required reports; uses data to assist in establishing and preparing lists, information booklets, master lists/logs, on-line documents, website pages, and other necessary and related materials; audits and then enters changes, modifications, and amendments to data in the system; digitizes print materials; researches information to post on-line; from a hard copy, creates an electronic file and posts on the website; organizes material for efficient reporting and retrieval.Computer Applications:
Creates, stores, and retrieves data to produce a variety of reports; maintains existing databases used to store and retrieve data used for program operations; establishes new databases using productivity software common to Macintosh and Windows operating environments; converts printed and electronic documents to ASCII (text files), HTML (Hypertext Markup Language), PDF (Portable Document Format) and other file formats; uses graphic editing applications to copy, edit, and save graphics from print documents and electronic files for use on Web sites.
Assists in establishing and maintaining a variety of file systems used in the department; creates documents including forms, procedures, and reports; assists other department personnel as necessary including preparation of manuals and brochures, and set-up for meetings, Webcasts and videoconferences; operates standard office equipment.
Qualified candidates must have any combination of training and/or experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties as described; a typical qualifying background would include a 2 year degree and/or 6 years of education and progressively responsible experience in MIS. Advanced coursework in MIS or related field is desirable.
- Production Supervisor 2nd shift – Lodi, CAThe production supervisor is responsible for the overall day-to-day performance of the second shift of the production area. This includes meeting production requirements, training and evaluating hourly workforce, process improvements, some mechanical equipment troubleshooting and the safety and quality of their designated area. This position requires candidates to be on the floor up to 90% of their day. Candidates should enjoy partnering with maintenance to troubleshoot equipment.Specialty Commodities, Inc. is focused on continuous improvement; the supervisor will be responsible for scrap reduction and efficiency improvement for their designated area. This position reports to the plant manager and the hours will be 3pm-12am. Occasional Saturdays may be necessary.
Qualified candidates will have a BS Degree in a technical, materials, operations, or business filled and a minimum of 3 years of recent production supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and the ability to work 8-12 hour shifts, if necessary. Candidates must have a proven record of maintaining safety and environmental health in a production facility and experience managing teams of employees by promoting a team environment and one that is positive for employees, developing and mentoring employees, and managing performance to ensure goals are met. Candidates must also be proficient in Microsoft Office and basic math. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a must.
